Sorry You make me feel ungrateful. I’m waiting to hear from the Land Rover place, I asked them to confirm if the part was right.
Same applies with the non working speakers.

I pmd you on recommendation from others on here.

I was calm until some angry loser pulled off my speaker cover and busted it to expose 3 speakers that apparently were “not supposed to work on that model”

I’m starting to get to the nub of it now - they sold me a car that had the high end system but didn’t tell me because 2 speakers didn’t work. So when I confronted it they got the hump and yanked at then to prove a point and now I have 2 speakers that still don’t work and a busted grille.

All of the above even though I offered to pay for the audio man to fix it.

I’m too honest and too flippin soft but I’ll sort it and thanks for the leads and links.

I won’t put the new grille on until I get to the bottom of the speaker saga but I’m really hoping it is just a disconnected or loose connection. I’ve got a local audio bloke who’s going to remove the seat and have a look so hopefully I will have a proper update soon.

So now I’ve told you all of the above, I’m caaaalllm well caaalllmer. 😀

Should I have reservations about letting somebody pull out the seat to get to the amp.

I’ve asked him to for a dash cam at the same time, thinking it might make it a more viable job.

What I also forgot to say was that I’m loving the ff rr having had an old sport for years the vogue is a comfy beast.
I may take a while to get used to the body roll but the high end interior is just such a nice place to be.
