A heavy handed audio technician - who denies this (but I know he did it)
Broke the clips on the back of the speaker covers that are fitted to the rear of the front seats (the ones that face the rear passengers). Does anybody know where I might get a replacement, Ive looked on eBay and the usual places but to no avail.

I had but it needs to clip in tightly as it’s sitting on leather.

These guys speciialse in al kinds of automotive repair products, I seem to remember they stoked a wide range of door inerior clips etc

Try brown brothers send them a pic as the fixings will be used in many cars. then if that fails the next choice is your nearesst LR dealer.

That looks destroyed! Were you able to retrieve the broken bits?

So how would you guys deal with such a situation? Pick up the bill or make the person who broke it ?

If they are a decent company I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, I would ask them to pay.

basically, I bought the car - everything is really great, mileage low, clean as a whistle etc. but the speakers in the rear of the driver and passenger seats didnt work, I questioned this and they assured me they were not meant to or they were dummies or some stuff like that.
So i took the car and left it with them, they arranged and "audio guy" and he confirmed, "nope they arent meant to work".

So when i get the car home i notice hes tugged this bit and broken the clips, also revealed the speakers underneath.
I'm pretty annoyed but the car was well specced and well priced so I'm going to get somebody locally to sort it, I reckon its an under the seat connection or something as the rest work fine and the system is a Signature reference, which is pretty good.

I dont like liars though and somebody is lying but I cant deal with it anymore, so I have resigned myself to get it sorted.

Just need the right person. HEEEELLLLPPPP please - Im waiting to pay cash for a proper job, I live in Essex.

As suggested cam tech craig knows his way around them and may be able to help, if you can see a part number on it that would be a great help.

no part number i looked - its branded meridian - but you try getting hold of them, they are like a secret society.
