I've raised this with GAP previously regarding the injector values for my 5.0 SC and was told the standard 'we expose everything that is available'. I know this isn't correct as if you plug in an SDD it gives injector by injector values for mis-fires and I've seen it myself.

Thanks WB, I was expecting the GAP to be all I ever needed. So I am a tiny bit disappointed I can’t seem to read those values. Because I do think I have an issue. Drivers side bank rear injector ish. SDD...enlighten me? 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

SDD is ‘Symptom Driven Diagnostics’ which is what LR dealers/specialists use to diagnose faults. It’s an OBD dongle which connects to a Windows laptop. It displays both live values and can also run diagnostic tests to check the function of things like fuel pumps, injectors and a whole load of other things.

itd be handy if it allows you to pull the adaptive fuel trims, but am guessing it becomes harder to find that data Its actually a sport

Fuel trims are available on the IID - for my car they show up and handy to diagnose rich/lean issues. |

what the sdd allows you to do is pull the fuel trims for every single rev range. makes it much easier to diagnose issues. Its actually a sport

I’ll look into the SDD route, for sure. But I don't really want to spend £££s more, additional to the price of the GAP last week. But we’ll see. We are talking RRs, after all.

You can buy the dongle "Mongoose Pro" for around £33 its comes with software that only runs on windows 7. All of it is a copy and not legitimate in any way.

You can get injector values own my 3.6 TDV8. You go to live values and select 'Injector 1', ''Injector 2', etc |

I’ve spent a fair bit of time mining the live value menu and there is no option to read the injector values on the 4.4.

Have you updated the GAP tool firmware/software to the latest version? |

I got the device on Thursday and before using it I ensured it had the latest firmware. I’ll maybe drop them a line. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Yes the pulse widths and mis-fire fields are there but the data for mis-fires at least on mine is wrong - have a look at yours Pete and we can compare? |
