Ahhhh, the joys 🤣 I’m not sure if they did the same on the X5, never had one so don’t know. I assume they learnt and do something different now.... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Adriatic Blue

pulled the motor out of tailgate today, rusty marks around centre shaft and some rudt water stains inside the plastic tailgate trim, dead short on motor, so its another motor now. I have also unblocked the washer jets and next will be looking at pump.
Deep, deep joy!! Oh yes, and deep deep pockets!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Cairns Blue

Being serious for a moment, I'm sure there was a write up on here some time ago about the rear washer and a mod(?) that could be done to improve the seal around the washer tube.
Try using the search function.

(And all Range Rovers have a secret wallet emptying chip.....)

I'll take a look, see what it says, well, I will if I can find it.
As for emptying wallets, I havnt learned from previous mistakes, 1 disco, 2 freelanders a P38 and now this L322. It;s over, I have instructed family and friends to do anything needed to stop me ever buying anything that comes out of land Rover.
Once this one goes, the affair is over!!

The write up is in the Wiki and it's a dead easy job. I fitted a new unit myself and about 4 inches from the pump is the non return valve. Take that out and see how much water comes through when you switch on the rear washer. Have your beautiful assistant hold the pipe and you can usually drown her. I'll see what my beautiful assistant says about holding my pipe to be caught out by the water. I feel a slap coming on.
