United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
Goodbye farewell

My last post, would like to thank all advice and help I was given over the last four years Dolphinboy and Craig at Cam-Tech to name but a few.
Do I miss the bus, yes I do, I miss the high up driving position, the ease of getting in and out with knackered knees. I don't miss the feeble door mirrors angles and the constant trips to fill up.
My current daily drive a RAV4 AWD self charging hybrid, has an multi point adjustable seat in leather almost a match for the RR although not quite. All the bells and whistles that were ground breaking on the RR are all there. Where it really wins is the hybrid unit and the variomatic or whatever fancy name they call it. Normal cruising but push the boy racer pedal and it goes. Not sure about 4 wheel ability not had a chance to use/test yet. Where it loses are the sun visors, stupidly small and no 2nd one. Load space is well less not that I needed it. I understand it is the same electrics as the Lexus and Suzuki just the petrol engine is different. Should see me out till I can drive no more.

Goodbye and remember preventative maintenance saves £s in the long run.

Have fun stay safe.

And with a Toyota you’ll probably never pick up a spanner again.
Our back up car is a RAV4. It’s pretty shy when it comes to maintenance or breakages. That’s why I bought a Range Rover, the boredom of a car never ever needing anything done was killing me!! Razz
. Cheers, Greg
