Hi before i rip all of the dash out please can someone advise how to change the ignition switch / gain access to it ?
RR is a 2008 TDV8 with the ignition switch mounted up on the dash next to the steering wheel.
i have found several threads regarding ignition switch faults but nothing to explain how to get access to the switch.

If you use the Search button in the brown banner just below the right hand image of a RR above it works a treat  Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Hi Dr Rob thank you, i have managed to change the ignition switch by removing most of the dash, lots of patience required !!!!!!
i coudn't find anything on the forum that helped but i am sure there is somewhere.
photo shows the ignition switch back in position, white cable connector below is twist lock and a fiddle to remove an re fit
photo of ignition barrel removed from switch, right hand side of switch half way down is a sprung retaining clip, depress this to extract from switch housing, access to this is when you have undone the 2 screws retatining the main switch pin connector & relay pin lock.
i will gather more photos later if anyone needs them for information.

If you could throw some pics and a how to together that would be brilliant. I tried searching on this forum and all topics I could find were for pre facelift (next to gearstick)
It might be something that I need to do in the future.

hi . I need to replace my ignition switch too . removing the dashboard looks like a daunting task , where do you start ? does the new switch come with new keys or can you still use the current barrel and keys . Thanks for any guidance ( i am new to the forum )
