From reading the Forum lots of users seem to have a Diagnostic Tool. I see that for switched on owners it is a must have tool.

With the Gap IIDtool being the one most mentioned.
For the 2019 RR is the GAP tool the best choice?
I saw one user has gone with Autel MD808 PRO. I assume that they have the same functionality.

I know that the Autel cab do other cars which is good.

Any advice?

IIRC the IID tool only goes up to 2016 model year cars...

Send Pat at Gap (site sponsor) a PM and ask him....

If it does work for yours it would be my choice but there are others..  Pete

The IID wont be relevant on your model until it comes out of manufacturers warranty period, circa 3-5yrs... You will struggle to find a diagnostic tool that will work on such a new model sir... Who would buy them? Only a very small few so it wouldn't make financial sense to develop a tool until the model is a fair bit older...

I have Gap IID BT. It does not work with MY2020, so pretty certain it does not work with 2019. I shall bide my time... and in 3 years enable my Gap tool. Hopefully, else there will be a For Sale on here! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
