A really helpful read as my 08 L322 suspension is behaving in exactly the same way. Great pointer for me to discuss with the indi tomorrow (who to be fair will probably be all over this!) |

Of course! A simple fix; a new front drivers side suspension strut owing to a leak / split in the old one. Essentially the compressor was working overtime to keep the system full of air owing to the leak and shutting down when it got a bit hot. All good now. |

Thanks for the update. Was your front corner sinking overnight? Still trying to get to the bottom of my issue - intermittent faults are the worst! 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue

The whole car would sink when stationary and engine off, not just that corner, presumably owing to all the air in the system escaping via the split. |

Eventually got to the root cause of my 'cross-articulation algorithm' fault - replacing the n/s/r height sensor has done the trick. Odd that it did not come up with a specific height sensor fault code though. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue
