The IID tool can re-calibrate it, looks like it does what you need..... maybe worth sending Pat at Gap a message and ask..?

I suspect the sensor is out of alignment. It's mounting has both vertical and horizontal adjustment and I suspect that the sensor isn't pointing directly ahead. Mine is pointing too high because over slight crests it stops sensing the vehicle ahead so I need to remove the bumper and adjust the sensor downwards a little. |

The sensor for your model is located behind the plastic bumper cover on the offside (UK drivers side) of the car. |
