I just sprayed mine Matt black it’s still looking good 18 months on |

I used some high temp mat black but as others have said it doesnt really get very hot so Im sure any old stuff will do. Current: FF Westminster money pit

High temp matt black spray works great. Surface preparation needed is minimal, just wash with soapy water, use the green (rough) side of a scotch brite sponge while you're at it. Rinse and let it dry.

Used Hammerite smooth satin black on both of ours, one was done nearly a year ago and is still fine. Make sure you prep well and get all the old loose stuff off and feather all of the edges with wet and dry. Drives:

Did mine with black BBQ paint. It’s all in the prep. The surface must be very clean and free of dirt and dust. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
