Other than that I'd go with Joe90 and consider the compressor. John

A 30 second search on the Gap website reveals - NO for Td5. Wink

AFAIK you need Nanocom or Hawkeye for the Td5. There are others. You probably know that from the D2BC.

It took me longer to type this than to find the answer. Very Happy John

Well, suspension problem is solved, replacement compressor, all now working. Still strange there was no fault coming up and less than 10k miles since pump refurb kit fitted.
Thanks , John.

I have noticed something strange with my IID Diagnostics since I upgraded from my old TD6 to a 4.4 TDV8. I have the 8-Speed gearbox, however whenever I plug the diagnostics in and go through the ECUs, it says I have a 6 Speed gearbox. I've had the licence changed over by Gap to the new 4.4 TDV8 and checked I've got the latest software running, so does anybody else have the same on their diagnostics tools, or is it something I need to get in touch with the Gap guys about?

Have you looked at the CCF file to see if it is set to 6 Speed? Just a thought 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

@dennij, hmmm...might pop out and have a look in a short while. Can't see though how you would be able to config a 8 Speed Ecu to read as a 6 Speed Ecu.

Stan, is that a bug in the Gearbox Ecu software or the IID Tool?
I understand you can get the ECU software updated, so is that what needs to be done?

Not much info in the link, GGDR had said he would email Gap about the gearbox readings, but nothing further in his thread, so I've sent a query to the guys at Gap Diagnostics.
I'll post any response on here, when it arrives. Thumbs Up

Just had the reply from Pat at Gap...
'It's just a typo error and will not affect anything'

So at least the mystery is solved and nothing to worry about Thumbs Up

Hi

I’ve got an issue with my parking sensors which is putting a fault on and causing all of them to stop working. I’ve checked usin the IID and it says that the front right sensor is the fault.

Question is, which one is it referring to? The inner or outer front right? Also, is this the right as you look at the car or the right as you’re sitting in it?

It's normally as your sitting in the car, so front right is off-side front in the UK.

Another thing, stick your ear next to each sensor when they're on, if they're working you'll hear a clicking sound. The one that doesn't make this noise is the dud.
