Quick one....does the IID allow you to see distance or time since last service interval reset?
I know how to do the service interval reset but want to see how far/long it’s been since last one?
Ta Thumbs Up

How to store selected (live) values for next trip usage

Currently I start my trip with connecting the GAP Tool and
then selecting my preferred 8 values that I like to monitor.

Is there a way to save time and to re-use my yesterdays selection with „one Click“ instead of select value by value?

I have a 2006 SC with 4 new Oxygen sensors. I now have a P0160-00(ECool Heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor - circuit no activity detected (bank 2, sensor 2) error. I have swapped the two rear sensors, the problem is still on the same side.

I have a IIdtool non BT and want to read live values for the O2 sensors. Is this possible? I can not find it in the menu. 2006 Supercharged

Look at the IID manual in the Wiki or download it from the GAP website. Section 4.8 Live Values explains how to. Page 131 on. Cheers

I haven't gone through the manual reading as per the IID non BT, but it does say that the manual only differentiates between the non BT, BT and Pro where there are differences. So i would think if you look at what you want to achieve with yours you should be able to get a result, if that reading is available on your model year. Cheers

Two questions-

How can I see the long and short term fuel trims?

And how can I see live cylinder misfire counters? Current stable:

2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:

I have looked through the live values section in the menu without finding it, it is probably not available for my car then. Thank you! 2006 Supercharged

Ian

It may be worthwhile sending an email to Pat at GAP about this. I have found that they respond well to questions. Allow a little for the time difference and non working at weekends. Cheers

Hi I have had an cruise control not available along with forward alert not available message and have used the IID to do a radar recalibration
It completed the reset but since that point i have a constant amber flashing follow mode warning on the dash
Acc and forward mode still not working but question is how do i remove the follow mode icon from flashing on tft screen?
Has it not performed a recalibration? And if not what is the proceedure please? Have driven 50miles without issues but still flashing
Any help and guidance would be gratefully received Thumbs Up

Hi can someone from GAP help with this one please?
2004 4.4 petrol Vogue no alarms or fault codes but suspension just doesn’t change height. Selecting off road height displays the “off road height max 30mph” and the lamp flashes but nothing happens and no faults come up. Select normal height, off road lamp stops flashing BT there’s still no change in height. A couple of years ago I refurbed the compressor and I have a GAP tool. Last week I put it on axle stands deflated everything, took off the reservoir and main valve block and opened the main valve solenoid and rubber greased the O rings. I put it back together and started it up. There is pressure in the reservoir, when the compressor runs it fills up about 1psi per second, some times it stops around 60, sometimes 80 and is currently around 110 psi, which it maintains overnight. When reconnected it didn’t automatically fill the airbags to the correct height I raised it with the GAP tool suspension valve test option, I can hear the solenoids clicking and it raises a couple of mm at each click of the up arrow. front has come up but rear is still low. I re-enable suspension every time I come out of test mode and go to check live values. It,’s like its forgotten what the settings should be, as I missing a reset of some sort or does this point to an ecu or some other fault? Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you John.

@johnniehec

When you deflated the suspension did you use the method using the Gap tool? If so did you follow the procedure outlined in the Gap user manual Section 4.7.2, including the resetting procedures.? John

No maybe that’s my downfall though the symptoms were already there before I jacked it up, put it on axle stands and disconnected the airlines from the reservoir and valve unit, there was only about 20 psi in the tank at the time. I’ll have a look at that reset procedure thank you
