2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Did the most important mod of them all today...

Then did all the black trim in Gtechniq C4, used this stuff before and find it very good..

From this, with little scratches...

Stan won....

Here is a picture of two of the greatest bits of British engineering... A Fatty and The Humber Bridge, one is sporting new wheels...

Took a drive down to Duckworths to see Robin this morning and picked up four L405 wheels in Style 1065, they are the same size as the Style 19's that were on there 20" but to me they look bigger..!! They are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpian Verde tyres in 255/55/R20 110W size and they are fitted with TPM sensors.

They are take offs and have been sat around a while and picked up some rubber marks

Some brake cleaner and a dab of G3 and they came up like new... half done here...

A couple more pics..

They are also easier to clean than the others and I'm loving the look... Pete

Spent all day cleaning the outside, washed it using the three bucket method, walk in garage, find three buckets and see which one hasn't been used for mixing mortar...!!!

Anyway, got it washed off, then used some of this to get the 40,000 small dots of tar off the lower half of both sides, this stuff is excellent for getting just about anything off and is less than a tenner for 5ltrs, it is safe on paint and doesn't leave chalky marks on trim either......

Then found an unopened Meguiars claybar and quick detailer in the garage so gave it a good going over, then dug out the Poorboys World White Diamond Show Glaze and got rid of a lot of small scratches and swirl marks, then a coat of Dodo Juice Light Fantastic wax on the whole fatty including the wheels... The only thing I didn't have in stock was some Rain-X but luckily my neighbour came to the rescue with some BMW stuff which smelt the same and worked the same... He also brought me a cold beer as he thought I looked like I needed one...!!! he must want something...lol... Oh and I gave the seats another coat of conditioner, they are getting nice and supple now and smell great...

I took before and after pics but you can't tell the difference, the Ipanema Sand is excellent for looking great when dirty and grubby...

So that's the whole fatty cleaned now, next job will probably be cleaning and painting the calipers and changing the pads
