United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Where have you had water leaks? I was up on the roof of mine as soon as I had it and filled in the big gaps with fresh silicone and cut off about a pound of excess that was aimlessly squirted all over the place. Shoddy workmanship for how much these vans cost nowadays!!

Might just go and camp on the lawn.....

I’ve got a 2010 Lunar. Every year I get it serviced, and every year it’s dry.

That doesn’t account for the fact that the rear roof light has a tendency to leak like a sieve every couple of years. Have to take it out and put it back in...... might Stick it in with Fixall next time. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

England 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Orkney Grey

First ingress was under both wheel arches(twin axle) The its been around the toilet cassette area, and a couple of the outside locker doors.
Along with numerous other faults, alarm packed up, cupboard door handles corroded, some internals in kitchen cupboards collapsed, light fittings, particularly shower room packed up, amongst, some of internal trim has come off, but apart from that, it's been a good van Rolling Eyes and it only gets used a few times each year, needless to say, our next van won't be a Lunar.

Friend of mine has the Lunar T1 [2010] & his body moved off the chassis a little, had to have brackets made.
His toilet area has water ingress but that could possibly be water in the tank splashing over while on the move. He's owned it from new & has been very pleased with it. I do like Lunar's but with 'Lunar' going bust the future looks a tad bleak.
I've had Bailey's since 1998 & this 2015 Unicorn Cartagena is lovely apart from the hassle we've had with the 12v fridge not working since new! Been back to Bailey's of Bristol twice now & numerous visits to the dealer [who we'll never use again for servicing] & still not 100% ok.
Trouble is, there's only a handful of manufactures now, so who do you go with? 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Mines a 2018 Ti, lovely van inside, light weight and easy to tow, but the build quality is shocking. Our next van will probably be a Buccaneer Cruiser, but they're not without problems. Our first van was a two berth Avon Dale, lovely van and well screwed together, pity they went bust.

Another friend had a Buccaneer, twin axle, self levelling, leather, real diddicoy outfit it was, he loved it, but at £34k it's a heck of a lot of money. Had several problems with it, culminating with the hecky roof coming away & soaking the bed..........it was p/x'd the following day for a new mid bathroom Lunar. Poor sod paid for extended warranty which is now useless.
For what we pay & use these things for, it's scandalous really the price. 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I had two Lunars from new;

2011 Quasar 556 - traded it for the Delta after 6 months as wanted a fixed bed
2011 Delta Ti

Both were great caravans with no warranty work to be done on either apart from the pump packed up on the internal water tank on the Delta. Dry as a bone though. I would have had another when I was looking last year but their financial issues put me off so I bought a Swift Eccles 650. 2019 Autobiography SDV8 Byron blue/black - current
2016 Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black/Ivory - sold
