England 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black

Speedy difference is negligible. Around 6% difference, and still within the national constabularies "rule of thumb" 10% + 2, 3 mph.

Tested at 70 mph via satnav, my speedo showed me at around 72/3 on the dial. And for a non calibrated manufacturers speedo unit then i'm more than happy enough to drive with the needle just below any given limit. 2006 4.2 SC

Netherlands 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Santorini Black

Changed the front brake pads, was a right pig of a job. Swollen lug nuts, seized wheel on hub, Brembo pins and retainers bolt that never seen grease in their life. Then the Brit part pins seem to have been made of jelly so I had to put the old ones back on. But all done. My gosh those six piston Brembo brake pads are big 😂

Anyway I had to take it for a test drive didn’t I Smile Managed to get about 4mpg at acceleration and then brake hard. All good Smile

Well, yesterday really.

Drove to Aylesford, then drove my HGV (well, the companies actually) to Heathfield with a load of mostly chilled food and back to Aylesford - a really pleasant drive, nice sun, nice countryside and - best of all - very little traffic.

Then back home.

All in all a pleasant day out & getting paid for it ! 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Replaced the shot Yausa 019 battery with a new Bosch S5 020 one. Tight fit but I got it in there (oo-er missus).
