L322 4.4 tdv8 2010 transmission module

Where about is the transmission module located. Going to check that, to see if any wires corroded or lose.

You miss the point. ZF moved it inside the transmission so that there aren’t any wires to corrode or come loose. It’s part of the Mechatronic unit, which is made up from two modules. One is a ‘standard’ valve block assembly – the hydraulic module - and the other is an electronic module which contains the ECU.

There is a multi-pin connector at the rear of the transmission to allow it to communicate with the car (CAN bus, power, gear position signal, diagnostics, etc.)

Cheers Phil.
I just got a diagnostic check and it threw up a code. I'll look it up and post it.

That suggests a transfer case or ecu problem.
