Hi folks,

Does anyone happen to have, or have access to a 2010 or 2011 facelift fatty (the one with the digital dash) with the rear seat entertainment fitted.

I am after finding out the remote control options and pictures/part numbers if possible. There looks to be a few options around on fleabay that people are saying fit but I can’t imagine there are 3 different remotes for the same system.

I thought it was the one that had the charging base fitted in the rear armrest but my donor car didn’t have that despite all other items being factory, including the loom so not sure if that was an option or whether this particular car was a retro fit and they missed that but. If they did then they did a blinking good job.

Mine has the touch screen remote that charges when inside the armrest.

I have the car with the pictures detailed by The Flying Scot in the other thread mentioned -- the touchscreen is to control the RSE -- the 'normal' looking remote controls the complete infotainment system -- apparently supplied so the chauffeured individual could control what the chauffeur was doing too !

Thanks for all the info guys, a real help! Looks like the car I used as a donor was an early facelift 2009/2010 which didn’t have the touchscreen one installed out the factory so it would be the smaller one I need as a start but I will also be looking to try a touchscreen one as well as I suspect it may work. Wiring looks pretty easy as it’s just ignition power to the armrest, plenty of the touchscreen remotes second hand, just gotta find a breaker with the docking station that I can rip out to complete the setup. Kids are too young at the moment anyway so no real rush for me so will keep my eyes out.

My 2010 tdv8 ( 3.6 ) facelift has the touch screen in dash rear entertainment but only has the normal remote small not the touch screen one

Cheers darrenm, any chance you could ping me a pic of it sometime? No rush. Is in the one with a switch on the back to choose which screen?

Next question, if either of you have a set of headphones, could you possibly have a look and see if they have a part number on them anywhere and possible ping me a pic? Gotta track some of them down eventually but no rush at the moment.
