Mrs old Skoda suffered from booming from the boot at a Cruise. Stuck a load of Dynamat in there and it sorted it. Top idea. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Right this arrived today... boat some closed foam too. Anyway do you cut a sheet any mount it over the window access opening or do a cutout and mount some on the onside of the external skin? Current stable:

Dan, I've just used that Noico stuff to do my Golf GTI . Used 80 & then 160 closed cell foam on top.

I covered as much as I could of the inner side of the outer skin; the back side of the inner skin and the door panel itself. I probably overdone it but rather that than doing a little part of the door and then finding it not doing what I wanted it to do and then having to remove the door panels again.
