Ive had them out - take the screws out of the foot well trims either side and pule the trims off to the side. then put you fingers around the sides of the clock oe and pull ifairl hard its on metal spring clips same for the top one (you may need to take the top out first not sure which way its fairly obvs) Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Hello...yes it fits the tdv8...(that's what mine is!).

We tried to keep the instructions down to readable proportions hence they are probably a little 'thin' at this point.
If I recall correctly, the clock and hevac panels just pull out....best to remove the cables and then you can get them out of the way.

Bolt head size is 5.5mm and it is the standard size for the thread....and the thread size is dictated by the hole in the rivet on the gear level assembly unfortunately. I originally used a button head/socket cap bolt but changed to hex when I lost the second allen key into the depths! Sorry this is causing some bother. I'll see if there is another bolt standard we can use for future kits.

And it's all a bit fiddly but that's more Land Rover's fault!

I only have a basic halfrauds socket set I didn't have any issues matching the correct socket needed to install the nut and bolt honestly the kit is purfect as is

Uesful video but a couple of small points, if I may:

When he installed the paddles he didn't replace the screws holding them. They do clip in but the screws ensure they are securely fitted.

I would suggest a little bit of blue tack to hold the transmitter pcb from dropping out of the slot. It helps to keep the wiring clear when refitting the airbag.

The video is for the earlier L322. The later ones with the ignition switch up on the facia are a little bit more complicated to take apart.

The instructions with the kit cover that last point.

Iv commented on their u tube page

He also doesn't seem to understand how it all works either I have answerd a couple of questions for people regarding this on their comments page.

For some reason he thinks its needs to be in sport to work he also tried shifting up gears when going way to slowly.

I was watching this video at midnight last night and agree Gsxr1250dave, it didnt come across about how they can be used when in drive to knock the box down a gear ready to overtake or when leaving a roundabout for a little bit of extra go and not just relying on box kicking down.
