Looks like someone bit LOL !

To clarify, the DAF 18 tonner that's waiting for rose.

As it happens they are as easy to drive as a car - you have to be aware of the size/weigh/blind spots. They are also very quiet - too quiet in my opinion as you can hardy hear the engine so you depend on the electronics to monitor it. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Do the refrigeration units still make a racket? I can remember 20 years ago being kept awake by neighbouring trucks with fridge units clattering away in the night. 2004 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue Bonatti Grey

Tom,

All the rigids on the fleet I work for run off the PTO's, mainly because they only do shortish runs.

It's not so much the fridge units themselves that make the racket its the euro minus 10 donkey engines on the trailers that make the racket. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Recalibrated the suspension. It’s nice and level now. Probably a placebo but it seems to handle better as well.

Also just went out to get some cash and milk, my gosh that supercharged sounded beautiful 😍😍

So I’ve had the silver fatty for 7 years but in the past month the amp, sat nav packed up ( water ingress) folding mirrors packed up, front air bag split had a bit of rot here and there so it had to go. Fortunately my friend who’s a mechanic had one up for sale so he took mine and I gave him 2k Happy days, it’s a later model so has the later sound system and a much nicer interior, less miles gearbox has been done and it’s been remapped and 4 virtually new Pirelli tyres . Even though they can be a pain I still love em. 2004 vogue

Over the last few days I have been trying to slow down the rot in the rear wheel arches.

Attempted to drive it inside to work on brakes, but cannot select gear with the brakes in fault mode! Typically it is parked on a damp and stony patch, not the place I would choose to work under it! Got enemies? Good, you have stood up for something in your life.

Never regret growing old, it is a privilege denied to many.

Filled the thing up with petrol. At £1.02 a ltr I suddenly like putting my foot down a bit more for that V8 sound.
