Picked up a 15 plate vogue SE on Thursday the dealer has fitted 2 new budget tyres prior to sale but I note that the rear alloys sticks out past the tyre wall, can anyone tell me if the rear tyres should be wider than the fronts? And what OEM landrover tyres sizes would have been on style 7007 22” rims

OEM 275/40/22 and no they should not look like that.

Some RR’s / Discovery 5’s are being fitted with 285/40/22 as OE 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

All 4 tyres should be the same size.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Check they've not fitted a Chinese wheel & tyre package as they use cheap tyres like that too

Think the alloys are genuine based on the forum information, it had conti contacts on before they swapped them 😁

Check the tyre markings carefully, especially the load and speed index. The tyre details will be on the sidewall. As an example, the tyres on my L322 are 255/50 R20 109Y. The 109 is the load rating and Y is the speed rating. Anything less than that might mean your tyres are not legal. The handbook and the plate in the driver's door panel will show the accepted tyre sizes for yorur car. You could also try searching on Black Circles using your registration number - they are normally pretty accurate. Last resort is to ask a Land Rover main dealer.

I had the same issue with my car, you'll find the contact patch of those tyres is about 235mm (how do they get away with that?) I've swapped the tyres, now thinking about the wheels. Looks like I'll be taking one off this week for a proper look. 2013 405 TDV6 Vogue SE Barolo Black
