Strange metallic noise

Hi all,
When accelerating steadily and the car changes gear, as the revs drop, I can hear a metallic spinning noise ?

If I drive it hard it’s not really noticeable.

It’s sounds like some metal part in the engine bay behind the dash ?

Any idea please ?

It’s a wild guess, but their are several fan motors behind the dash... eg
De mister fan motor

Thanks so much for the reply.

I’m almost certain it’s not those as it’s in the engine bay and is Rev’s related !

It’s only when accelerating ?

It’s not owt to do with the turbo spool is it ?

Update !

I’ve had the bonnet up and it’s air related not metallic!

It’s a strange sucking and blowing noise wen I rev the car but it’s really loud coming ftt try on the drivers side rear and side corner under the bonnet ???

Wen you rev, as it settles it’s a spinning sound and there’s a blow / suck of air but it’s really loud ??

Any ideas please ??

Just seen a post saying it could be turbo hose ??

Can anyone tell me where this is situated and is it easy to get too ?

That is, at least to check....

This is where the loud sucking noise is coming from on the offside

This air box is also where the noise is on the offside.

There is no noise or sucking from the near side vents or air box

All diesel cars suffer from dpf and egr issues. It can be fixed.
Some diesel cars blow head gasket with clogged dpf and egr. More expensive cars I am assuming, go into limp mode before this can happen.

If dpf and egr is clogged then Diesel is not the engine for you to begin with.
