Restricted performance

Hi
I am new to the forum and hope someone can help, for the last couple of days my range rover 3.6td v8 has been coming up with warnings then going into limp mode, the warnings are restricted performance, stability control not available, forward alert not available and emergency brake assist not available. This normally happens when trying to accelerate to around 60-70 mph but sometimes less. I've had a alternator and battery fitted about 2 months ago.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or where to start looking for the fault
Thanks

Welcome Thumbs Up
Ideally it needs the codes read with a diagnostic machine. There is bound to be a LR specialist in your area. Where are you? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

The first thing I would try is to check the top inter cooler hoses which often get a small tear and cause the fault you have. They can be hard to see as the go in the bends so you might need to take off (2 jubilee clips) and inspect them.

Thanks
Tim

Thanks I will check them tomorrow.

I can get my hands on a icarsoft reader if that's any use 😁👍

Read codes and check your hoses Thumbs Up
Replace any split hoses with silicone versions. A few places do a kit for the 3.6 tdv8 Thumbs Up

Thanks for the advice,
I will be checking the hoses in the next hour and I have managed to get the icarsoft reader to see what codes if any come up.

I've got to say this is my 2nd range rover and i absolutely love them, cant see me driving anything else 😁

Fingers crossed it's sorted. I've had it 3 years now and other than the alternator it's never let me down Very Happy
