Having now done a search and read all I can find, I have checked as best I can without dismantlling the plastic inlet manifold which seems clean and no evidence of soot, just a little oil at the back.

Remove the lower intercooler hoses, and check for excessive oil... |

I guess my real problem is finding someone with the knowledge and experience close enough to me in Valencia. The only option may be the local Main Dealer |

Small amounts of oil is perfectly acceptable. Sounds as though you have a boost leak, be it a top intercooler hose or cracked manifold A smoke test would highlight any issues |

Thanks Stan and Mikey, Stan I had found and read some of those threads, but there where a couple I had not. Thanks Mikey, I was beginning to doubt turbo after the no oil in hoses. So, more investigation needed. Can you briefly describe how a smoke test is performed please. |
