Did you check the oil cooler and associated pipe for leaks? Easy to see when air box is off. Stand on a box and peer down the back of engine and look forwards ...so to speak. If it looks like this then oil cooler gaskets need doing.

If no leak then it will be bone dry like the second image further down this thread

It’s tricky to get mark 1 eye ball on the oil cooler and pipe. I used a small step to get higher, a little mirror to peer down and forwards if that makes sense Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

It’s red trans oil, a whole load tonight leaking out, not from the pan but around the bell housing.
