Even if was being slow, I still found myself stepping over them as if they were in the way, rather than using them

Having said that I only used them for a day before deciding I didn't like them.....

I found them annoying for the first few days, but definitely wouldn’t be without them now - once you get used to them they make a massive difference and also save wear on the seat bolsters 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

2 weeks into ownership and I was not sure at first but I’ve got used to them now and think they’re great.

Although being a LR, one is always aware the dream could be shattered anytime when they stop working. My biggest nightmare is one side getting stuck out and the other side not deploying, that would look totally uncool Big Cry

In doing research on alternative deployable side step options I stumbled upon Pegasus 4x4 in Bristol. They claim to offer an identical to OEM system at a discount. Anyone use their deployable side steps? 19 RRS SVR

+1 to that, must have option, total decadence, never get tired of them

Just my opinion but the deployables are a must for an FFRR, make the RR look so much better when the are not deployed and the cool factor ( for me) is still as enjoyable as the first time I used them.

I saw that brand too as I was looking into this. I found a video of them in action and they appear to look/operate identical to OEM.

Anyone have any experience with Pegasus? 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

I specified them on mine as my wife had a knee problem which made it difficult for her to get in our previous L322. I wouldn't be without them now as they are just a nice feature to ease entry and exit. Hand car wash people love 'em to clean the roof as well! As mentioned they do stop the wear and tear on the seat side bolster which is a feature of every older RR. I've never felt I had beaten them to the punch when getting out. They do look cool as well!
