Move quick on that but go for a car with out brake pads as these are the new ‘diesel’ for air pollution in London - will be interesting to see how the over come that! |

Drove my colleague's new BMW i3 - practically doesn't need brakes as soon as you take your foot off the go pedal, the regenerative brakes pull hard. That thing won't need new brake pads anytime soon. So - until the stealers can confirm the replacement coolant pipes and rear oil seal with the previous owner of the RS6 and find the paperwork, it's no deal Current: FF Westminster money pit

I traded my FF in two years ago but still look at what’s for sale and am surprised how prices have plummeted during this time. It’s very tempting to get another and run it alongside my ultra reliable and trouble free (that’s jinxed it) Mitsubishi L200 |

You cannot judge if £17k is a good price for the Westie without knowing if £28k for the RS6 is the right price. RS6's may be rare and hard to compare. Likelihood is that they're knocking £1k or £2k off the Audi and then plumping up the PX offer, but it's all the same price to change at the end of the day.

Prices probably will slide a bit more. Local authorities need to think very hard about the way various "improvements" are killing off the town/city centres - if I cannot have the option to drive into the town/city centre (most of the time I will take the bus/use park then ride) then my money will not be spent there. My local town centre High Street is 50/50 pedestrianised. The pedestrianised part is simply where the local riff-raff congregate after going to the Benefits Office. Still, if you fancy a spliff the air is that heavy with the stuff you just need to inhale ! Open the High Street to traffic again & make the parking free but limited before all of the shops go.[/i] 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6 |
