But only if the sensors come out of the old pads which they more often than not wont! Plus im pretty sure the sensor wires are a different length in the 6 pots sir... |

Be worth getting some new ones in before starting the swap then. Cheers Craig. |

Any pointers on what pads are ok? Are pattern pads ok? Always found they create so much more brake dust |

Ive not found any non genuine pads that work personally but, some on here like EBC... Ive tried EBC in my D2 pickup and didn't rate them... |

Got back from work at 12 today so fitted fronts. Got new pads and sensor but managed to use the original sensor. Didn’t have time to tackle the rears but did have a quick look. The rear callipers look exactly the same?? Apart from the new ones I’ve got being red are they the same? |

It wouldn’t surprise me if they were the same...

Ok. Sort of part of the reason I thought twice about attempting this today. I noticed they have some kind of motor on the back. I’m sounding an absolute rookie now. But I thought it might be something like a new design for electronic handbrake? Or are the shoes still inboard like the older lr’s |

Thats all well & good Horseman, but it doesn't tell you the procedure to bleed the rear callipers after replacing them! And im not sure id want to do the whole job on my driveway without a diagnostic computer to hand "incase i would need to reset something or programme/calibrate the replacement rear callipers?
