We’ve had ours for 5 years and has been almost 100% reliable, now on 85k.

Issues
1. Gearbox leak, serviced and been fine since
2. Various warning lights and error codes, ignition barrel replaced.
3. Air suspension, replacement air bags. MY 08 L322 4.2 Supercharged, Grey with Black leather, 85k

I think the point is that even at 187k miles I am more than happy to do 2000 miles across
Europe in winter without batting an eyelid. Also if I run faults on the 11d I get no faults.

It was me Dan mine has always done it not regular every now and then on tick over one of the Jag engineers said it is like a signature of the engine he wasn't in the slightest concerned so 187k miles later still doing it and nobody can tell me why

Is it a bit worse when cold when it happens? I started mine up earlier no fan on when it started and it felt a little lumpy idling went for a drive it was fine no faults or anything just slightly lean trim at idle Current stable:

I have just replaced the control arms again I suspect they were torqued up in the air as the rubber had split - I only had them off as the top ball joint nearside had gone and gave a slight knock over a speed bump to be fair most would have left it.
I also replaced the offside rear wheel bearing this was done 3k ago so it was a faulty part which I have sent back. I also had a creak on take off and breaking turned out to be rear subframe bushes on off side (i did these about 60k ago so a bit disappointed anyway all done and running like a dream again off to France next weekend fo another drive around so mileage is 189 at moment so should do another 2k .
