Just had all the welding done on my vehicle (see my previous posts 'what lies beneath' for details) , gave permission for the welder to chop the side steps off as they were rotten , had a new replacement set fitted by the garage but fitted the front mudflaps myself before the steps were fitted. What I need to do is re-bolt the front mudflaps to the side trims below the side intake trims , so does anyone know how I can remove them or gain access to fit the mudflap side bolts please ?

You need to remove the lower panel - pulls off once you remove (or perhaps just loosen) one or two bolts (usually rusted solid) at the joint with the wing

Thanks for that , Im sure there are 2 x screws at the top (that look very corroded !) , that needs to be undone. Trust it to be raining now Will put it up on the wheel ramps and see if I can get access

If you can get a spanner on both ends, they usually end up snapping, 10mm from memory.
