My wife is out in the RR now so I can't take any pictures. Basically if yours is like mine the DVD player will be the lowest of a stack of 3 units, with the DVD sat nav above it and the nokia Bluetooth module at the top. All three of these are in the same cage and this needs to be removed to access the screws on the side holding the DVD player in.

Brilliant description! I have the deepest respect for people like you that not only handle their car repairs, but have what it takes to make a DIY description like this to help others! It really is remarkable!

Glad I could help and glad to know there is a thriving international medical community tinkering with their Range Rovers. Please look carefully at the pictures for faint red circles. Some of the ones I added in powerpoint became v thin and nearly invisible when I converted them to JPEGs. |

Sorry to bump this up but i used silicone spray but every few weeks I still get it stopping to eject and it’s dried up.

So would traditional grease cause any issues on the mechanism? Current stable:

Rather than spray I would be inclined to use a light amount of silicone grease. eg. Nyogel 760 John
