Should u try to paint this.????

Hi
I removed my grill to paint it black but it was painted before i guess.
The chrome is seen under.
What should i do????

Side grills are easier.

I tried mi first paint job.
Will post for comments;)

Shipment is too much to Turkey from ebay:(

But i discovered nasty rust under side grills.I guess not normal??

They’re just steel mounting brackets that can be removed (two bolts) & replaced cheaply

Arghhh all was fine till i screwed corner of the grill while clear coating.
I put too thick it all dripped and i touched and.......f... 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

A tip for this job.
Never hurry.
Paint and coat by small sprays dont over spray!!!

Those rusty brackets are safe now luckily no rust passed to car due to paint of brackets.
But paint was already in flakes and it protected because it was squeezed btw car and bracket.
Otherwise it would fall already. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
