England 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Santorini Black
New FFRR Owner Checking In

Hi All

Had my MY14 VSE for a couple of months now and must say i'm in LOVE so far. Its a real pleasure to drive, compared to my previous Merc W166.

Quick newbie question however, on the spec list is states 4 zone climate, but it seems when 1 rear passenger changes the temp it adjusts the other side as well?

Any info appreciated, I have been so busy since acquiring it I haven't had much opportunity to investigate myself.

Thanks in advance

Ah ha

I will have a good look later at that, Thanks Thumbs Up

Also i just got it serviced at my local dealer, and wondered if I would get a countdown to the next service. I couldn't find anything scouring over the menus. Will it tell me or is it designed to be a nice surprise one morning?

I would think that information and more is on your screen using the steering wheel controls or indicated stalk button 👍 Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where,s the f**king ceiling!!

I think the distance to service on the menu only appears when ignition on and engine stopped...it does on mine but it’s a later year . But you will also receive a message on screen when about 1k to go.

Ok thanks, I will have a try. I most likely had the engine running when i last looked. I am curious on the countdown as I have been reading some interesting posts on the later versions having very short or "early" oil changes.

If you cover less miles per year then it will be a yearly countdown... If you do higher miles then it depends how you drive as to how many miles you get between services... I.E. lots of short journeys compared to long motorway jaunts Thumbs Up

SHMBO does approx 5-6000 miles a year. So I knew it would be the anniversary of the service that got me over the mileage.

Thanks Thumbs Up

you can also check the spec of the car using Land Rover topix or https://www.vindecoderz.com/EN/check-lookup/ (put your VIN after ‘lookup/)

Sometimes suppliers get muddled of the intricacies of the spec, whereas this source should be authoritative. You don’t have to be a professor of JLR to understand these spec sheets, but it helps Laughing L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
