counter intuituvely you push the clip inwards and the fitting should release. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I replaced my expansion tank (oil cooler gasket was leaking and had oily film on the inside of the expansion tank) requiring removal of that lower hose fitting, I also lost the same spring clip but luckily found it hiding in the subframe.

Ps if the clip is completely removed opposed moved into the ‘remove’ position, the fitting should just pull off. |
