Unfortunately the 14 day rule doesn't seem to apply to France - lots of stories out there of people getting fines through 6 months later |

I am back over next week for another run around - I did notice that a few of the burned out ones were still around be interesting to see if they are all repaired . |

As Alistair says, no Notice of Intended Prosecution within 14 days in France. Timing varies according to workload etc.

I keep 90 Euros in cash in the car specifically in case I get a roadside stop.

On my September trip I reported being saved outside of calais by Waze.

If you guys venture into Luxembourg (the country) be aware that they have had a major speeding crack down this year. Back in march/april they put up a load of pole speed cameras on the touristy areas (roads along the rivers etc). Some are not easy to spot.
