Odd noise after new front tyres?

Had 2 new tyres fitted and since noticed an odd noise.
Sounds a bit like a rubber gater but not sure how it could be a tyre fitters error?
any thoughts

What tyres did you put on? Are they the GT ones? Some tyres do sound different. Years ago I bought a 4x4 (not RR) which had new tyres fitted. Had various diagnostics ranging from front axles to differential and or a faulty gearbox.

Problem solved when tyres were swapped to rule out any rubber issues Current:
- L560 Velar HSE R-Dynamic D180
- Peugeot 508 2011 - 2.2 HDi GT

Past:
- FFRR V 2010 - 3.6 TDV8
- Citroen C4 1.6i Petrol
- Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 DID
- Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi
- Nissan Primera 1.8 SVE
- Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC

They might have bent the dush sheilds and caused a slight rub... very easily done especially if the dush sheilds are rusty. __

It was the lower ball joint, can only assume it was on it's last legs and jacking it up allowing
it to extend to it's max was enough to end it's service.
