Tell Genuine from Copies - L405 22" Turbine Style 7007 | |
Lots of people always ask, so, here's at least 4 ways you can tell the difference between genuine and copies. From both the wheel face and the inside of the wheel:
Wheel face, genuine - triangular inserts between spokes
Wheel face, copy/ replica - squarer finished inserts between spokes
Inside the wheel, genuine - Land Rover stamp on inner rim (near rear lip of wheel)

Inside the wheel, genuine - flat, smooth solid looking spokes
Inside the wheel, copy/ replica - thinner looking indented pattern spokes
Inside the wheel, genuine - hub face - two handled, square frying pan style indentations around each wheel nut hole
Inside the wheel, copy/ replica - hub face - more star shaped hub face like this (or no handles on the square frying pan style indentations)
