Buzzing from cluster?

Was just driving today In the 4.2 and stopped at light pulled forward and the instrument cluster started buzzing temps rtfs all looked fine - any ideas? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Rolling with laughter i've thought about it

I know - this is the worst luck I've had with a car.

Its gone in to have the valves seats done now so hopefully will solve my running issues.

It wasn't a buzzing sound it distinctly sounded like a buzzer inside the cluster that was my concern as it was audibly loud and annoying. after i turned it off it was fine next time... Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF

2002 4.4 V8 FF

really what's the buzzer even in there for if it makes a random noise for no reason? (not the standard bong or beep) Current stable:

listen to this it sounded exactly like the first one :

so you guys would all be happy driving around listening to that at that volume.... I think not!

Yes I know FF are not the best built vehicles on the planet but I have had one for nearly four years and am fully aware of how they are. after speaking to various people on here it seems to be a fairly well established theory that reliability is slight better on the MY07 and newer and im users to a MY02 Rolling Eyes Current stable:
