I have a sensitive sense of smell and I found Gliptone smelled like it was covering something up ------ like a really old minicab. Or Femfresh.

Sorry to resurrect, but I was about to buy some Gliptone cleaner and conditioner and noticed that it states it is NOT TO BE USED on analine leather.

No - whatever it’s called in a modern car (with one single exception I can think of) it has a top coating on it, so ignore conditioners and just use something mild to clean it. |

“Aniline” or semi-aniline or dyed leather or whatever leather in cars all still has a PU top coat. |
