There are quite a few Gliptone cleaners and conditioners. Which ones are folk using?

I have a sensitive sense of smell and I found Gliptone smelled like it was covering something up ------ like a really old minicab. Or Femfresh.

An alternative is Dodo Juice - amazing at cleaning leather with very little or no smell.

Dodo Juice supernatural cleaner and then sealant afterwards.. Best out there for sure an i have tried a lot..

The cleaner has no fragrance as such so no extra rubbish in there and it leaves a nice matt finish which is how leather should be,

The sealant makes the leather more plyable and doesn't leave anything behind which could attract dirt and thus abrade the top coat..

Dont use any creams on it waste of time the cream can not seep through the top coat into the leather so sits on top and dirt sticks to this and abrades.. Regards

Daz

Sorry to resurrect, but I was about to buy some Gliptone cleaner and conditioner and noticed that it states it is NOT TO BE USED on analine leather.

I've heard the term used here but not really sure how to tell. Will my 2010 Vogue SE have this type of leather? 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE

No - whatever it’s called in a modern car (with one single exception I can think of) it has a top coating on it, so ignore conditioners and just use something mild to clean it.

“Aniline” or semi-aniline or dyed leather or whatever leather in cars all still has a PU top coat.
