L322 td6 Vogue 2003 had starting issue did injector leakoff num 1&4 faulty refurbed all 6 Nu washers/ o-rings good spray pattern, plus nu filter, came to start it but no fuel coming through, in-line pump whirring also in tank pump so decided change tank pump first waiting for it to come then will see if fuel comes through to filter if not will move onto inline pump. |

I changed both my low-pressure pumps last year and the car started pretty much straight away after. You should get just below 4bar pressure reading on the low-pressure side using diagnostics. The sensor is on top of the fuel filter. If there is not enough pressure you will get a fault on the dashboard something like " injector fault" Not sure if that would stop it starting. 2007 TDV8 VSE

New pump came fitted in ok but a bit fiddly, fitting the other sender/ pickup to the other side took some juggling there’s a Recess on bottom of tank for base of pickup and a hole moulding for top of post ( which is sprung to assist in locating) then the tricky bit arm through hole reaching across tank to fit plug into the pump took 2 tries before it clicked into place got charge battery up refill with fuel and see if it works ( fingers crossed when done) if no fuel appears or no start will replace inline pump and try again.... |
