Horn Fuse/Relay

Hi,

Done quite a bit of searching here and on the internet generally but can't find anything definitive.

Trying to sort a problem with my horn not working at all and trying to find associated relay and fuse.

I think the relay is behind the fuses in the passenger glove box but not looked yet - the one I'm really struggling with is the Horn fuse...

Don't think it is in the glove box or rear compartment boxes - not listed in the owners handbook - I think that it is in the under bonnet fuse box but then I cannot find a description of which one it is.

There are several posts on her about similar, but I couldn't find one that gives anything definitive.

Any search wizards or fuse box experts that can give any guidance is much appreciated!

Jim

Hi - yep can confirm its on the left of the engine. Opened it up and there are fuses in there. The workshop manual doesn't seem to get into fuses and relay level - the horn section describes how to get at the physical horns and change them out.

I did also find an electrical guide and also a section extracted from Topix on fuses but both these seem to be for ~04-06 models Sad

Cheers anyways!

Hi - there is one in the main glovebox fuse box - but not in the one in the engine - in the handbook it says fuses under the hood not to be touched unless by technician! So they don't tell you.

None of the other fuse boxes would appear to contain one that is marked 'Horn' - maybe the horn is that dangerous!

You could always check the fuses with the ignition off.

Don't know if it is the same with RR's but on my last vehicle (VW Transporter T5) if you pulled ignition fed fuses with the ignition on you could get an airbag warning light on which would have to be reset via a diagnostics tool - maybe someone could advise me on this. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6
