Hi All

My 07 has still got some glitches mainly showing fuel trims way higher than they should be (around 20 for each bank combining long and short terms).

We have checked injectors and checked the fuel pressure done the fuel filter, done a smoke test and fixed a couple of tiny leaks but nothing makes much difference.

Then I stumbled upon this tsb and my car is in the window...

My question is will lr tell me on the phone if it’s been done as I don’t want to waste cash for no reason? Anyone any idea what these updates cost? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

This applies to a safety recall, specifically the brake hose recall on the 2011 MY.

I rang the nearest LR dealer and they were able to confirm the recall had been carried out using my reg and VIN. Try ringing Marshalls Cambridge service dept and ask about this. So no problem on releasing the info to you.

You may have to ring around dealers that serviced your FF as at that age they don't appear to have national online records available.
