My ff 4.4 v8 is a weekend car, I probably only do approx 5k a year anyway. I like fiddling with motors and have a Volvo T5 as my daily load lugger, wife has Pug estate as she finds it more practical being a Teacher than her old tin top convertible. We also have a New Beetle as a back up for the back up! Daughter is getting to that age so she may inherit the Beetle? Run a few classics when the sun comes out.. |

Same here, my L322 is my main car rather than backup.

Of the 5 Range Rovers I've now had the pleasure of paying the bills for... 4 have been secondary or spare cars etc. I've had a company van or pickup for the last 11 years which has fulfilled my "getting to work" problem. Currently that is a 2019 Nissan Navara and whilst utilitarian in many ways they are not a bad thing, I had a 2016 one which was very similar and did 103k in less than 3 years in it.

I have 4 cars "on the road" inc. the FFRR for my wife and I and my daughter when she comes home. Although she currently has a company car anyway.

Mine’s just passed 26 1/2 months & 72,700 miles and it doesn’t give me any reason to have to run a back up; it just works, every day (and I don’t believe in fate 😉) |
