Well, it’s an original disc. I got it out once. Put it back in again. Now it won’t eject. Should I suspect the drive do you think? |

I had similar, the disc not ejecting. The GPS was throwing up errors too. It was down to a problem with the pins on the plug to the drive. As a first step take it out and check the pins for integrity and also for verdigris. Mine were quite heavily corroded.

Pulled the unit out and no pin damage or corrosion. Also got the disk to eject. May try replacing the disk first and crossing my fingers. Where can I obtain a new disk? |

IMHO.. Not worth spending considerable money on fixing an outdated poor LR satnav system, unless your a stickler for originality and needing everything having to work.

Thats probably what I'll end up doing. Might try a few quid on a new disk in case its that simple and cheap but no more than that. |

Just to close this up. After plugging and unplugging the computer module it sprung into life. |

I know this is a couple of months old but can I ask what disc you are using. I have the DVD-ROM from Japan, for Land Rover dated 2005 but underneath it states : 1993-2004 NAVTEK. When I insert the disc the screen states "wrong disc"
