L322 touchscreen sat nav error

Getting the error on the attached photo when I press the sat nav button on the 2004 l322 that has the touchscreen sat nav unit that I have just bought. Does anyone know what is the likely culprit for this and how I might go about fixing it?
Really appreciate any help as I'm a total newbie!

I suspect exactly as it says -- wrong disc, or corrupted disc, dare I suggest non original? Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Well, it’s an original disc. I got it out once. Put it back in again. Now it won’t eject. Should I suspect the drive do you think?

I had similar, the disc not ejecting. The GPS was throwing up errors too. It was down to a problem with the pins on the plug to the drive. As a first step take it out and check the pins for integrity and also for verdigris. Mine were quite heavily corroded.

If that doesn't do it there is a guy, in the Birminham area as I remember, who advertises on the Bay of Es. I sent my unit to him - the pins had got damaged - and he sorted it out. It's a couple of years ago now and I can't recall his name. Try a search and also if I can find it I will let you know. John

Pulled the unit out and no pin damage or corrosion. Also got the disk to eject. May try replacing the disk first and crossing my fingers. Where can I obtain a new disk?

IMHO.. Not worth spending considerable money on fixing an outdated poor LR satnav system, unless your a stickler for originality and needing everything having to work.
Personally I use, my smart phone on a magnetic mount above the car screen, using several inexpensive but ALWAYS current sat nav apps that Bluetooth voice instructions through cars speakers. 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I used to be indecisive and have a split personality... but we are ok now...I think?

Thats probably what I'll end up doing. Might try a few quid on a new disk in case its that simple and cheap but no more than that.

Just to close this up. After plugging and unplugging the computer module it sprung into life.

DVD ROM

I know this is a couple of months old but can I ask what disc you are using. I have the DVD-ROM from Japan, for Land Rover dated 2005 but underneath it states : 1993-2004 NAVTEK. When I insert the disc the screen states "wrong disc"
Are you required to purchase from a dealer? Would really like this system to work, even if it's a couple of years out of date...B
