This may be inflammatory but - Microcat? It's kinda where all the part numbers live.

Nick, the wood in both Dan's and my photos show Burr Walnut, it's the very dark wood option, cherry is much lighter

Here is more Burr Walnut on my car

Dan i just cannot use micocat - i'm too computer illiterate

the nearest i use is the microcat link that Scarey supplied to the 'russian' site

Yup, you have burr.

I believe it's veneer - which is very thin layers of wood with lacquer on top...

i'm not sure

before retirement i was an architect so should know?

the only way i could tell would to be to get two cars with burr walnut interior side by side and compare 'timber grain' - but it could still be 'fake walnut' if the grain patterns are 'random'?

so no idea Laughing

I'm fairly sure it is right nick, I had burr walnut on my last L322 and it was slightly darker than tims there.

That pic was taken on a very warm and sunny day on LPR's forecourt, at the moment in the winter daylight it looks much darker - as per my photo further up the thread which was taken this morning 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Just waiting for my cherry kit to arrive - thanks to Dan for the link Thumbs Up

Can the electric window surrounds on the top of the doors be changed to Cherry? More importantly, would it be too much? My black placcy ones are peeling now so they need replacing. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

The window switch packs are £250 though Sad plus they are powerfulluk ones and not as good quality as the genuine jobby. I don't think that was ever an option, as as you've suggested may be too much?

I think if you had piano black then it would be OK. I did wonder about stripping them and painting matt black as well as the steering wheel spokes.

I've done similar things in the past on other cars, without success. I think for how much they cost new, I'd be inclined to replace them.

Saying that - how much are they new? Shocked 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
