Seeking a Range Rover for short film, Hampshire UK

Hi everyone,

Firstly, if this is something that might be frowned upon or deemed inappropriate then please inform me and I will take action.

My name is Alexander and I am currently searching for a an individual who might be able to help me source one of these cars, for placement in a short film that I am producing.

The car will only need to be parked in one location, no driving, towing or anything else! It is to have my main actor sat in the drivers seat for one scene only. I am filming in the Winchester area of Hampshire within the next 4 weeks. I will only require the Range Rover for a few hours while filming in a multi story car park.

The Range Rover has been one of my all time favourite vehicle, and if there was an opportunity for me to include it into my work that would be fantastic.

Thank you for your time and I hope someone might be able to help me out.

p.s - I also have this posted on rrsport.co.uk and was kindly directed to this website, I do not intend to blanket your forums!

back on the RRS forum you've said that the sport would be ideal for your film. wondering if this is genuine or are you just promoting your company.... ... - .- -.

Hi,

There are a number of companies who rent Range rovers out for the day such as John Dennis 4x4, this might be of help to you.

Hi guys,

Definitely not trying to promote my company, I will be happy to remove all of my buisness details if needed (however you got to agree it would look silly if a newly regestered person was asking for you to bring your 60k RR to a video shoot). I have worked on RedBull adverts in Hawaii and promotional kitesurfing videos in the Maldives. I wouldn't for one second dream of posting little threads on a forum...

However, yes the sport is what I am looking for idealy, however beggers cannot be choosers as they say!

Landrover Mad, yes I have been in contact with some rental companies. I do not require to have the Range driven, so can not really justify covering the rates that these companies charge unfortunately. Thank you for your suggestion though.

Alexander.

Very much doubt you will get a proper Range Rover now you have said you would prefer a sport

Definitely was not written as you guys have taken it.

I did mean that not being fortunate to own a Range Rover, I am in no position to choose whether it is model/spec A or B. Apologies to anyone offended.

Laughing listen at kettle!

To the OP - sorry can't help you out.. l but can I guess... is it a drug deal scene? Hence the request for the sprot version.. which would then be an entirely understandable preference Thumbs Up 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS
