Cam cover gasket replacement cost? 4.4 V8

I know it can be done DIY, but with my never ending propensity to mke a mess, I am considering getting an indy to a job.

Does anyone know how much you would expect to pay for the cam cover gaskets to be changed an the 4.4 V8 BMW engine?

Thanks

This is why I think I might be better paying an expert!

You’ll be lucky to find a garage to just change the gaskets... They are a rubbish design! Most garages want to replace the rocker covers too as they warp with age! Then leak immediately again! This then leads to complaints, hence most wanting to change the lot!!!

I did mine and found it a bit fiddly when I tried not to remove the injectors and associated bits. On the other side I did remove them and it made it a lot easier.

With some decent sealant for the joins on the timing cover case and the half-moons on the rear, it should be an OK DIY job.
Replace all the rubber bushings on the cam cover bolts too as they hard likely to be hardened.
I'd advise having an inspection mirror tool on an extending stick too, makes checking gasket seal on the half-moons easier.
Oh, don't do as I did and let the earth strap curl over and sit between gasket and cover on fitting.
Plenty of YT vids on BMW M60 replacement to follow.
