Boot problems

I have a faulty bottom tail gate button which is being replaced.

But.. I’ve had some issues like if u open with key fob it wants close with key fob. Or open gesture wants close gesture. Anything else gets a two chirp error and nothing closes.

Have also seen top close and bottom stay open.

Any thoughts

on mine if its locked and you open the tailgate using the keyfob then it will only close with the keyfob , pressing the tailgate button doesnt do anything.. ... - .- -.

Surprisingly then not just me.

Perhaps that’s what’s happening with me - I hadn’t pinned down the exact sequence. But what u describe is happening for me.
